Trentham Garden Centre WINS Best Garden Centre Retailer of Gifts at THE GREATS AWARDS

On Thursday 18th May THE GREATS winners for 2006 were announced at the Royal Lancaster Hotel, London. Blue Diamond's Trentham Garden Centre won Best Garden Centre Retailer of Gifts.

The Greats launched in 2003 and are the only industry awards that set out to recognise the ‘greatest of the greats’ in UK gift retailing. Earlier in the year over 14,000 Greats voting forms were distributed to UK gift suppliers and agents, who subsequently nominated the retailers that they felt to be worthy winners in each of the categories.

Trentham Garden Centre was up against stiff competition from Blooms of Bressingham (Gloucester), Burford Garden Company (Burford and Tenbury Wells), Trelawney Garden Leisure (Wadebridge) and Van Hage Garden Company (Great Amwell).

Trentham Garden Centre won on its high quality approach to their customers and giftware suppliers, as well as their talents in the use of innovative display and merchandising.
